Create a reflective space for the things you miss most
This art correspondence workshop invites you to create space for the things you miss most. Guided by artist Martje Rullens, you will create an artistic piece of post including a written letter and a handmade envelope, and use art to reflect on the theme of missing.
Enjoy an evening of writing, drawing, a quick lesson in envelope construction and decoration, and finally a moment to write (or draw) a message to anyone in your life who needs a little tenderness, be that your mum, an unrequited love, your pet, or even yourself.
Sure, it’s easier to send a text or make a phone call, but a handwritten letter is a meaningful alternative. Putting pen to paper is a personal and intentional form communication that encourages focus and care without distraction. Leave the session with a beautiful collective memory that you or a loved one can treasure and return to in the future.
This event takes place in Create. Reserve your free tickets here.
