Repair Workshop: Mechanical Failures, Sustainability Edition

  • Exhale Mekelweg Delft, ZH, 2628 CN Netherlands (map)

Keep your items in tip-top condition and prevent them from breaking down.

Every day we interact with mechanical items: our bikes, kitchen appliances, and the mechanisms in our locks and doors. All these items have moving parts that are prone to rust and wear over time, causing many products to end up in landfills prematurely.

This workshop is about keeping your items in tip-top condition and preventing them from breaking down. We will identify which parts are prone to wear and how to find replacements for broken parts. We will also go over techniques for replacing parts yourself and maintaining your equipment to make it durable and long-lasting.

The workshop will start with a one-hour masterclass before opening up the general repair workshop.

Remember: Bring your own electrical items to work on!

This workshop is suitable for repairing mechanical parts and failures. Note to returning participants: we may not be able to repair electronic damage or clothing items in this repair session.

Reserve your free tickets here.

This workshop takes place in ‘Create.’
