Tonight is your chance to get an introduction to screen printing. In this class you learn how to screen print on a custom tote bag and explore various printing techniques firsthand.
We’ll start with a short introduction to the history of screen printing, then walk through each step of the screen printing process on textiles. This will include everything from creating logos and screens to using different types of textiles and inks. We’ll also experiment with screen printing on cotton T-shirts. The custom items will be properly treated so everyone can take them home at the end.
This event is produced in collaboration with Mesh Print Club.

About the host:
I’m Teun, a 26-year-old creative from Rotterdam, working across multiple disciplines. From organizing music camps to leading audiovisual projects and running my own clothing brand, I’m passionate about combining creativity with entrepreneurship. Together with a small team of professionals, we bring our diverse skills together to push creative boundaries and create work that feels authentic and impactful. All under the same name “We Don’t Care.”
This year, we also launched the We Don’t Care Foundation, where we use our experience and network to support young talent in the creative and cultural sectors, helping them take steps toward professionalization. Our goal is to provide real opportunities for growth and collaboration, fostering a community where new ideas and innovation thrive. At We Don’t Care, we’re all about empowering creativity and turning ideas into tangible results.
In all my projects, I enjoy having creative control and staying deeply involved in every step of the process. With my clothing brand, this led me to discover screen printing—a craft that combines hands-on work with artistic freedom. For the past couple of years, I’ve been developing this skill at the Mesh Print Club in Rotterdam, where I’ve learned the intricacies of the process. Now, I’m excited to pass on this knowledge through workshops that cover everything from the basics of screen printing to how to apply designs to textiles and troubleshoot common challenges.
