Introduction to Afro Dance

  • Exhale Mekelweg Delft, ZH, 2628 CN Netherlands (map)

Following the popularity of our Afro Dance workshop in the Spring, we are back with another XL edition of this class for anyone wanting to try out this expansive style of dance. Our teacher Danimé will guide you through a basic dance routine and teach you about Afro dance from her perspective and experience. Finish the class feeling refreshed and energised for the weekend ahead. No dance experience required!

This event takes place in Create and Move. And afterwards, go enjoy our barbeque on the terrace from 19:30!

Tickets will become available soon.

About Danimé:
Daniella, known as Danimé, is an Angolan dancer, born and raised in the Netherlands. She is African through and through and takes everyone on an African journey through her dance. She has a background in HipHop, Popping, House, and Dancehall, but her main styles are Dancehall and various African styles such as Ndombolo, Afrohouse and Kuduro. She wants to inspire, educate and, above all, let people enjoy dance.

"I believe that everyone should be able to be themselves in dance. That is why it is important that everyone discovers his/her own flow."

She travels the world to get her information from the source, but is also a source herself. She also works with Dutch artists and DJs such as Bokoesam, Steesko, Waxfiend, and Rockefellababe and has shared stages with international artists such as Beenieman, Elephantman, Shenseea, and Stonebwoy.
